Experience the best of Japan in this 4-day Tokyo getaway, perfectly timed for a memorable New Year celebration. Upon arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel to relax after your journey. Explore Tokyo on a full-day guided tour, visiting iconic sites such as Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise Street, Tokyo Skytree, and the Imperial Palace, before enjoying the spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks at Odaiba and festivities at Tokyo Tower. The following day, embark on a scenic excursion to Mt. Fuji and Hakone, including a drive to Fuji’s 5th Station, a tranquil cruise on Lake Ashi, and a traditional midnight fireworks display at Hakone Shrine. Throughout the trip, experience the perfect blend of Tokyo’s modern vibrancy and Japan’s natural beauty. On the final day, a private transfer will take you to the airport, concluding your journey with unforgettable memories of culture, scenery, and festive celebrations.
Upon arrival at Tokyo Narita or Haneda Airport (exact timing to be advised), you will be met by your private driver. A private vehicle will transfer you to your accommodation, the Hotel Wing International Premium Tokyo Yotsuya (double room – 16 sqm) or a similar 3-star hotel. Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM. After checking in, you will have some free time to freshen up and relax following your journey. Dinner will be at your own arrangement. Overnight stay at your hotel in Tokyo.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your English-speaking guide (ESG) in the hotel lobby. The day will be spent on a private full-day city tour of Tokyo. The itinerary includes a visit to Senso-ji Temple and the bustling Nakamise Shopping Street, which together represent Tokyo’s oldest temple area. You will then visit the Tokyo Skytree, ascending to the 350-meter observation deck for panoramic views of the city. A photo stop will be made at the Imperial Palace. Lunch will be on your own. In the evening, enjoy the Odaiba Rainbow Fireworks scheduled for 7:00 PM, followed by a sparkling celebration at Tokyo Tower to welcome the New Year. After the festivities, you will be dropped off at your hotel. Dinner will be at your own expense. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tokyo.
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will again meet your ESG in the lobby and set off on a full-day private excursion to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. The tour includes a drive up to Mt. Fuji’s 5th Station, located at an elevation of 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. After enjoying views of the iconic mountain, you will proceed to Hakone for a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi. This relaxing boat ride offers stunning views of the lake and Mt. Fuji. Lunch will be on your own. In the evening, you will witness a traditional New Year’s fireworks display at Hakone Shrine, taking place at midnight on January 1st. After the celebration, return to your hotel in Tokyo. Dinner is on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tokyo.
After breakfast at the hotel, complete the check-out formalities. A private vehicle will transfer you to Tokyo International Airport for your departure flight. The trip concludes as you board your flight, bringing back cherished memories from your holiday in Japan.
